B.  What is an inference?  Examples?
C.  What is an experiment?  Examples?
3.  Show red liquid.
A.  Observations?
B.  Inferences?
C.  Experiments to find out what it is?
4.  Show green object.
A.  Observations?
B.  Inferences about what it is?
5.  Quickly make observations and inferences about someone in class.
6.  Show bead bucket.
*As the observations increase, the inferences get better. (That's
why we study cancer so much.)*

Mon. 8/31
1.  Safety letters?
2.  What did the bucket of beads teach us?

4.  Pass out Science Mystery Boxes and let students work on them.
5.  Draw predictions on board.
